As an online brand builder, Calento has spearheaded new lines of business around emerging media types (mobile, podcasting, video, social media), in publisher, vice president and senior vice president capacities. A recognized innovator and media maverick, he’s appeared cover of Folio: Magazine and named to its list identifying the “next generation of publishing leaders.”  In addition, Calento has built and executed technology evangelism/social media programs for advertisers including: include Accenture, Citrix, Dell, EMC, HP, Iron Mountain, Juniper Networks, Kurt Salmon, NEC, Research In Motion, SAP SuccessFactors, Savvis, Sprint, Sybase and others.
